Admission requirements for International Baccalaureate - IB Curriculum
Admission to AUS is competitive, and the required minimum average for admission consideration will depend on the number of qualified applicants and available seats.
Below are the minimum admission requirements. Requirements might change without prior notice based on the majors. The final decision regarding any application is made by the Office of Admissions.
Applicants graduating from the International Baccalaureate curriculum are required to obtain the following:

full IB Diploma with six subjects (excluding Islamic Education) with at least three in the higher level, and attain a minimum score of 24 points, or an average of 24 or above in the best two years of the last three years. Applicants who were not awarded the IB Diploma but received the IB certificate can apply and will be assessed based on the provided high school credentials. Applicants with IB certificate may be eligible to apply, provided they score no less than 4 on each subject and no less than 29 total
score. -
a minimum grade of B (or equivalent) in the required subjects to be considered for admission to engineering, science, architecture, interior design and business majors (see the website for a list of majors and the required subjects).

an English Language Proficiency report from any of the following tests with the listed minimum scores:

a certificate of equivalency for their secondary education certificate (required by the UAE Ministry of Education). Click here for more information.
- At the initial stage, unattested documents are accepted. After processing the application or upon admission, all documents must be attested as applicable, for the file to be completed and for course registration eligibility.
Early Admission (highly recommended)
Applicants are encouraged to apply early. If you are in your final year of secondary school, you are encouraged to apply for early admission by submitting official grade reports for grades 10 and 11.
Early admission is only offered to highly qualified applicants. Admission is not considered final until students submit a recognized and officially certified secondary school certificate or equivalent showing successful completion of secondary education and meeting all the conditions as listed in the Admission Letter.
