Thank you for your interest in the Master of Fine Arts in Trans-Disciplinary Design (MFA-TRD) program at AUS.
This is the first program of its kind in the GCC, preparing strategic design leaders to navigate the AI era. Offered by the College of Architecture, Art and Design (CAAD), the two-year terminal degree program integrates studio practice, critical theory, design research and emerging technologies.
Students work across disciplines to research complex societal, environmental and technological challenges; develop and test design concepts; and translate insights into human-centered, sustainable responses integrating design, science, culture and technology, resulting in prototypes, systems and design interventions.
Successful applicants to the program must meet the university’s general university requirements for graduate admission, as well as any program-specific requirements.
