To meet the English Language Proficiency requirement, PhD applicants must submit score reports that are verifiable through the official systems. Unverifiable scores will not be accepted.
Applications without a valid English Language Proficiency Test will not be processed and will be put on hold until a valid passing score is submitted.
Applicants are requested to submit valid and verifiable score reports of TOEFL or IELTS with the following minimum scores:
Only TOEFL and IELTS are accepted by the American University of Sharjah; other tests, including but not limited to the following, are not accepted:
- IELTS Indicator
- TOEFL iBT Home Edition
