AUS offers a limited number of full and partial Graduate Assistantships (GAs) on a competitive basis to PhD students. GAs cover tuition fee waivers and monthly stipends.
A GA is awarded on an annual basis for a maximum of four years, subject to an annual review of the student's academic performance and achievements. Recipients of the GAs will be involved in conducting research within a research group as well as performing teaching assistant duties.
Applicants applying for an assistantship must complete the Application for Graduate Admission, with the box requesting consideration for assistantship marked. In addition, they must answer all the related questions on the application, submit the relevant transcripts, and submit two reference letters to the Office of Enrollment Management by the application deadline specified.
