The Achievement Academy Bridge Program (AABP) offers courses that fully prepare students from nearly 30 countries for their studies at the American University of Sharjah (AUS), one of the top universities in the Middle East.

IELTS/TOEFL Preparation
- Students learn valuable test-taking skills for the IELTS and/or TOEFL examinations.
- On average, 75 percent of students in the top-level attain the IELTS/TOEFL score needed to matriculate.
- All instructors are highly qualified with a minimum of a master’s degree, along with extensive experience teaching IELTS/TOEFL in the region
- Instructors have experience as IELTS examiners and IELTS teacher trainers
- AUS is an approved IELTS and TOEFL test center.

Subject Hours per week Content
Students will study for a minimum of 18 hours per week and a maximum of 26 hours per week dependent on the level that they are placed into.
Admission
The AABP is designed for students scoring between 4.5 and 6.0 on the IELTS, or between 32 (400) and 79 (547) on the TOEFL.
Students are placed into the appropriate English Language Preparation course based on IELTS/TOEFL scores, diagnostic tests, and, where necessary, interviews and placement tests.
Students with lower IELTS/TOEFL scores may enroll in AUS’s Outreach program.
