Admission to AUS is competitive, and the required minimum average for admission consideration will depend on the number of qualified applicants and available seats.
Depending on the school grading system, applicants graduating from an American high school curriculum are required to obtain the following:
- A minimum CGPA of B or an average of 80% in Grade 12, or a minimum CGPA of B or an average of 80% in the best two years of Grades 10, 11, and 12. Only subjects classified as academic are considered in the calculation.
Applicants who attain 4 points out of 5 Advanced Placement Test subjects may be awarded course credits for freshman-level courses. For more information, refer to the Advanced Standing Credit Transfer Policy https://www.aus.edu/academics/registrars-services/transfer-of-credits
- A minimum score of 450 in the SAT Mathematics section or 500 in EmSAT Achieve Math.

- English Language Proficiency reports with minimum scores as shown in the below table.

Early Admission (highly recommended)
Applicants are encouraged to apply early. If you are in your final year of secondary school, you are encouraged to apply for early admission by submitting official grade reports for grades 10 and 11.
Early admission is only offered to highly qualified applicants. Admission is not considered final once students submit a recognized and officially certified secondary school certificate or equivalent showing successful completion of secondary education and all other items as requested in the Admission Letter.
