Pakistani Boards

Our minimum admission requirements depend on an applicant’s type of secondary education program and certificate. Admission to AUS is competitive, and the actual required minimum average for admission consideration will depend on the number of qualified applicants and the number of available seats.

Below are the minimum requirements. Requirements might change without prior notice based on the majors. The final decision regarding any application is made by the Office of Admissions.

All applicants whether from the UAE or outside must obtain an equivalency from the UAE MOE.

This applies to :

-All Private schools in the UAE applying education systems other than the MOE curriculum.

-All schools/education systems outside the UAE whether private or public.

To be eligible for admission consideration, students who complete Pakistani Board(s) Certificates must obtain:

i. an average of 60 percent or above in part II
ii. a minimum TOEFL (iBT) score of 80, or a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5 (Academic)*

*Students who do not attain the required English Proficiency score, but meet AUS admission standards will be admitted to AUS Achievement Academy Bridge Program. The student’s placement in the appropriate level is determined by placement tests administered at the beginning of each semester.

The following documents are required for applying:

• final grade reports of grade 10 and 11
• final part II report (if available at the time of application submission)
• valid TOEFL or IELTS score (if available at the time of application submission)
• colored passport scan
• colored UAE national ID scan (for UAE nationals and residents)

All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application payment of AED 400. Transfer applicants are required to pay a non-refundable transcript evaluation of 400 AED (deductible from tuition upon joining AUS)

Early Admission (highly recommended)

Seats are usually limited for applicants to the College of Engineering and the College of Architecture, Art and Design to apply early. If you are in your final year of secondary school, you are encouraged to apply for early admission by submitting official grade reports for the last two years previous to the final year of secondary school. Furthermore, applicants for College of Architecture, Art and Design majors must present passing IELTS or TOEFL score at the time of application submission.

Early admission is only offered to highly qualified applicants and is not considered final until students submit a recognized and officially certified secondary school certificate or equivalent showing successful completion of secondary education and all other items as requested in the Letter of Admission.

Regular Admission

If you have completed your secondary school education and have the part II report, you can apply through the regular admission procedure.
